Process automation

Process automation means letting software do the repetitive steps in your work, like data entry, follow-ups, reports and chasing paperwork, while people keep the steps that need judgement. With AI, automation can now take on work that used to need a person to read something first, such as sorting email or drafting a reply.

The work nobody was hired to do

Every business has it. Copying details from an email into a system. Chasing a quote that hasn't come back. Building the same report every Monday. None of it's hard, but it eats hours, and it's where mistakes creep in.

Until recently, automation could only handle steps that followed fixed rules. AI changes that. It can read an email, a form or a document and work out what should happen next, with a person checking anything that matters.

What we do

  • Map how the work actually gets done today, step by step
  • Pick the steps worth automating, and leave the ones that need judgement
  • Build the automation into the systems you already use
  • Put a person's sign-off where it matters, and an alert where something needs attention

In practice

Every website enquiry followed up

For a property development company, every enquiry from its website now starts an automated follow-up. The lead is qualified, assigned, chased to book a call, then reminded before the call. Nobody has to remember to do it.

A social content pipeline

For the same company, we built a social content system. Every night it studies how the company's Instagram and Facebook posts performed, alongside its competitors', and flags any that beat the usual. AI explains why a post worked and writes scripts and captions in each account's voice.

Nothing goes out without a person's sign-off. The presenter films from a phone screen, captions are added automatically, and posts publish to Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.

How it works

Questions

What kinds of work can be automated?
Anything repetitive with a clear outcome: data entry, follow-ups, reminders, reports, sorting and filing email, moving information between systems. If a person has to read something and decide what to do, AI can often help with that too.
What if the automation gets it wrong?
We build in checks. Anything that matters goes to a person to approve first, and you can see what the automation did and why.
Do I need to change my software?
Usually not. We automate inside the systems you already use wherever we can. If one of them can't be automated sensibly, we'll tell you.
